Who we are
This website is run by Gujranwala Denmark Community, a community of people from Gujranwala District, Pakistan, living in Denmark. You can contact us at info@gujranwala.dk.
What the website collects
The website has no forms, no user accounts and no advertising, and it does not use tracking cookies.
If you choose a language, a cookie called "lang" remembers your choice for one year. It only contains the language code (en, da or ur).
Like all websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time and page visited) for a short period to keep the website secure and running.
Membership
If you apply for membership by email, the committee uses your name and the details you send only to manage your membership and to invite you to our events. They are not published or shared with others. Members are added to our members-only WhatsApp group, where the other members can see your name and phone number. Tell us if you want to leave, and we will delete your details.
Committee and events
The names of committee members are published with their consent. Event details are published by the committee; we never publish the address of an event on the website. Contact us if you want information about you changed or removed.
Social media
Photos and videos from our events are published on our social media pages, such as Facebook, and a few photos are shown on this website. When you visit our social media pages, the privacy policy of that platform applies. Please tell us if you do not want to appear in photos.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to see, correct and delete the personal data we hold about you. Write to info@gujranwala.dk. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.dk.
